Aly Siblesz handles litigation and white-collar matters at Gelber Schachter & Greenberg. She represents clients in both state and federal courts and is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to joining the firm, Aly clerked for United States District Court Judge Patricia A. Seitz in the Southern District of Florida for two years. In addition to traditional clerkship duties, Aly assisted Judge Seitz with the Court-Assisted Re-Entry Program, also known as CARE Court. Through this role, Aly worked with judges, prosecutors, public defenders, and community providers to help individuals who have completed imprisonment terms re-enter society. Before clerking, Aly was an associate at a prominent regional firm, where she represented clients ranging from large corporations to small family-owned businesses in a variety of civil matters.
Aly graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College at Florida International University with a B.A. in History, and then obtained her J.D. from the University of Florida Frederic Levin College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. In law school, Aly served as a general editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy, helped organize the annual Public Interest Environmental Conference, and was the President of the UF Student Chapter of the Cuban-American Bar Association.
Aly is a Miami native but lived in Costa Rica for the majority of her childhood. She enjoys playing basketball, watching movies, and spending time with her friends and family. She lives in Coral Gables with her husband and their cat.
