Shane Grannum

Shane Grannum is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on civil litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and government and internal investigations. He also has substantial experience litigating political and government law cases and helping clients to navigate regulatory landscapes in Florida and across the nation.

Before joining Gelber Schachter & Greenberg, P.A., Shane was an attorney at a prominent international law firm where he readied high-stakes, bet-the-company litigation for trial, defended clients in white-collar matters, and successfully represented companies in high-profile investigations. He also clerked for the Honorable Judge Kathleen M. Williams in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Previously, Shane spent nearly three years as an attorney for one of the largest political law practices in the nation. There, he represented political party committees, presidential campaigns, members of Congress, and corporations in litigation and before federal, state, and local government agencies. Shane is a member of the bars of Florida and the District of Columbia.

Throughout his legal career, Shane has been passionate about client service and bettering his local community. He has maintained an active pro bono practice, receiving High Honors from the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll for representing clients in First Amendment litigation and working on issues affecting veterans and their families. He also works diligently with local organizations to protect the right to vote.

Shane earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as President of the American Constitution Society and an Assistant Articles Editor for the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. Shane received his A.B. with Honors from Brown University, concentrating in Latin American Studies and Public Policy & American Institutions.

A proud South Florida native, Shane calls Miami home and enjoys weightlifting, the Miami Heat, and spending time with family and friends.
